Perfectly named, "Shiloh" is nestled high atop Hatcher Mountain in the beautiful Wears Valley just outside Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains, vast forest land and wildlife. Shiloh's four acres provide a refuge and retreat from the busyness of life. Just minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Townsend, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Shiloh's location offers the option of a quiet day on the porch or an exciting adventure at the attractions nearby.

In May 1995, we spent our honeymoon in the Great Smoky Mountains and fell in love with the area.  The Mountains are so different from our home in Southeast Florida - wide - open spaces, wildlife, friendly folks, forests full of towering trees, the beauty and majesty of the mountains.  We dreamed of one day owning some land in the Wears Valley area and building our own cabin.  That dream began to take shape in 1999 as we purchased almost four acres of secluded land atop Hatcher Mountain.

In June 2003, we closed on the construction loan and in October, broke ground at the site that would become the foundation for Shiloh.  God blessed us with a builder who is a Christian brother.  Thanks to his efficiency and many telephone communications, it was not necessary to visit again until the cabin was completed.  The construction process was finalized in August 2004.  When we saw the finished cabin, we were amazed.  It was much more than we could have ever dreamed or imagined.

We stayed at the cabin prior to opening it for our guests and experienced the tranquility and beauty for ourselves.  It felt as if you could reach out and touch the surrounding mountains.  The views are stupendous!  Most of all, we enjoyed sitting still and enjoying God's handiwork.
